About

Creative Marketer, Graphic Designer, and Artist

I grew up out in the country in a small town called Shelocta and got my start in the arts by watching my great grandma draw the most detailed and beautiful colored pencil drawings. She has been a true inspiration to me and how I started my career journey. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Art & Graphic Design and a minor in Communications Media.

I can be quiet at first, but don’t let that fool you, I can be quite the opposite too once you get to know me. I’ve always been a very passionate, glass half full person. I’m very determined and definitely a problem solver. I’m always happy to try again to make the best outcome possible.

During my free time, you can find me sipping on a chai tea latte while crafting and painting for fun or seeking adventure and thrills at theme parks! The beach is my happy place (Myrtle Beach to be exact) and I enjoy country music on a warm, sunny day. I hope to use my passion for art and writing to bring joy to others and make a difference in the world.

I have experience in, but not limited to, marketing campaigns, print and digital design, social media and email marketing, B2B and B2C marketing, Adobe Creative Cloud, brand guidelines, web design, and repurposing and organizing content and assets.

Volunteer Work & Events

I’ve volunteered in many different ways throughout my educational and professional careers. I love giving back and adding joy to others’ lives even if only in small ways.

  • The IUP Alumni Association started the Oak Notes Project a few years ago, giving alumni a chance to welcome the newest students by sending them a few welcoming and encouraging notes on an IUP postcard. Since graduating from IUP, I have participated in welcoming incoming Fine Arts students through the project.

  • Painting is one of my favorite things to do and nothing is better than seeing the joy on a child’s face when they get their face painted. I’ve participated in church events and local festivals as a face painter for 4+ years now.

  • The church I grew up attending has many volunteering options, but one of my favorites is working in the café on Sundays after service or in the kitchen during the annual Holy Spirit Seminar. Not only am I giving back, but I’m also spending quality time with my grandparents and those I look up to.

  • Being a VBS teacher has been one of the most tiring, yet rewarding volunteer experiences I’ve had. I love helping the kids learn and creating a space for them to have fun together.

  • As a student, I attended many networking events with the Board of Directors, President, and alumni. I’ve now attended a few events as an alum and it’s been so fun and rewarding being on the other side of it. I used to listen to the most fun and inspirational stories, but now I’m the one telling the stories!
