Distinguished Alumni Award Poster

While attending IUP, I worked as a Graphic Designer for the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.

I designed the Distinguished Alumni poster along with others for the prestigious event held every spring. An alum from each college within IUP is chosen for the Young Alumni Awards and the Distinguished Alumni Awards each year. These posters went up throughout the campus to show off each recipient.

Restaurant Website Project

The Restaurant Website Project is my all-time favorite project I worked on at IUP. We were to come up with our own restaurant, branding, and make it come to life by coding the website.

My mom’s family is Hispanic, and I’ve grown up having my grandma make the best authentic Mexican cuisine, so I based the project on that. My grandma cooked all of the food, and I photographed it. We even wore our own fun taco shirts for the merch page.

Skeletal Anatomy Project

I took an independent study with an IUP art professor where we focused on human anatomy. For my final, I turned my sketches of the specific skeletal anatomy into graphic illustrations for an infographic.

Food Packaging Project

I absolutely loved this Food Packaging Project. We were to choose a product and design a logo and the entire packing. I have the best memories with my grandparents around the table enjoying pancakes with delicious homemade maple syrup, so I chose pancake mix and maple syrup. I based the project off of their family farm for a welcoming rustic look.

For the final, we even printed out our designs and placed them on the actual products to see how they would look as mock ups.
